Border detail
This quilt is made from two photographs - one for the interior
of the quilt, a separate closeup for the border. The branches of the cherry
tree make a marvelous intricate pattern across the quilt presenting numerous
faces, many of them cats! There is a great depth to the quilt owing to
several focus planes. The Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly is a delightful
surprise in the quilt. The color in this quilt is very true and captures
that wonderful feeling and look of spring.
